Jimmy Mac Eyewear (“www.jimmymac.ca”) owns and operate this Website. This document governs your relationship with jimmymac.ca (“Website”). Access to and use of this Website and the products and services available through this Website (collectively, the “Services”) are subject to the following terms, conditions and notices (the “Terms of Service”). By using the Services, you are agreeing to all of the Terms of Service, as may be updated by us from time to time. You should check this page regularly to take notice of any changes we may have made to the Terms of Service.

Description of Services and Merchandise

We at Jimmy Mac describe our merchandise which includes pictures and photographs on our site, but sometimes the product varies slightly from the picture or description due to slight changes by or manufacturers.

The prescription that you provide Jimmy Mac must by written by a registered medical practitioner or a doctor of Optometry that has been performed within the last 2 (TWO) years. If you aren’t sure, please contact your Eye care professional prior to ordering from Jimmy Mac.

If you don’t specify your PD (pupillary distance) we will use the average PD, provided by qualified Opticians. By placing an order without your exact PD, you agree to use an average PD of 63mm for Men and 60mm for Women. We HIGHLY recommend having your PD taken from your Optician.

You must be over 18 years of age to purchase, and entitled to purchase prescription glasses, and must not order on behalf of someone under the age of 18.


Your Eyeglass order will be delivered to your specified delivery address, only after payment has been received and processed.
Your eyewear will be delivered by Canada Post Express as soon as they complete and inspected by our Licenced Opticians. The shipping date and time specified by us is only an estimate and is not guaranteed.
If for any reason at all ( not our fault) you do not accept delivery of our shipment in accordance with this paragraph, we will charge you an additional fee that covers any direct cost incurred by us as a result (this includes additional insurance, additional delivery, storage etc.)
We cannot be held responsible by delays by our suppliers.

Inspection of Goods

Once your Eyewear has been delivered, we encourage you to inspect the product carefully. If your order is damaged or missing, please contact us immediately and refrain from wearing the product. Prescription orders include confirmation of the prescription itself. If the prescription doesn’t match your ordered prescription, please contact immediately and refrain from using the glasses.

Once you have received your order, any damage incurred is your responsibility.

You are liable for any loss or damage inflicted on the merchandise from the time of delivery unless any loss or damage is caused by our negligence.

Price and Payment

The prices mentioned on our site include shipping (free)
The price stated on Jimmy Mac includes any vat payable.
You must pay the specified price upon placing the order.
We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
Credit card payments are subject to authorization by the credit card issuer. If authorization is declined, Jimmy Mac cannot be held liable for any non-delivery of ordered goods.

Resale of Goods

Any Jimmy Mac products are sold on the strict condition that they are not resold to the public.

Return of Goods

Jimmy Mac Eyewear will not accept returns or exchange goods that have sustained damage while in your possession.

Recording of Calls

Any phone calls to the company may be recorded for future use.

Liability and Warranty

Jimmy Mac cannot be held liable for any damage or loss that may be caused to you glasses once it has been delivered.
We also cannot be held liable for any damage or loss that may be caused by the use of glasses purchased from our site.

Nothing in these terms and conditions excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence or any breach of the statutory implied terms as to title of goods or for fraud and any other liability which by law we are not permitted to limit or exclude.

Our maximum liability (and that of our employees or subcontractors) to you in connection with any physical damage caused to you property through our negligence will not in any circumstances exceed $5000.

Transfer of Contract

This contract is personal to you, and may not be transferred to anyone else.
