Where to begin!

Jimmy Mac Eyewear was and always will be about YOU, our dedicated clients and customers. We set out to make your eyewear purchase fun and easy and most importantly affordable! By working closely with our frame and lens partners and engaging with our customers directly we have created high quality, appealing, inclusive eyewear starting at $179.

Founded in 2016

Owner and Optician Jeff McNamara started with a small 8 piece collection, Jimmy Mac has now grown to over an 80+ piece ophthalmic and sunglass collection that has something for everyone. We firmly believe buying high quality prescription eyewear should not only make you look good but feel good for a fraction of the cost!

How do we do it?

Well we decided to create an alternative option by disrupting the eyewear industry completely! From our Canadian sourced frames and lenses to our in-store optical lab we are able to offer exceptional eyewear for far less than the $500-$600 that you typically would pay.

Jeff McNamara, also known as “Jimmy” is no newcomer to the eyewear industry. As a licensed optician with over 20 years of experience in the business. He specializes in everything from lab work to all things Jimmy Mac!

While building the brand, Jeff has been able to put his years of experience in the industry to help grow Jimmy Mac from a small collection to what it is today with the unwavering support from his team and family.

When not hustling Jeff enjoys spending time with his daughter and everything outdoors; including his passion for cycling around the lake or a quick round of golf!

Madison Johnston - Manager & Marketing

As our Manager, Madison knows all the in's and out's of Jimmy Mac like the back of her hand. She ensures that everything is running smoothly behind the scenes, so you can trust you are in good hands!

Madison started with Jimmy Mac over 5 years ago and quickly fell in love with idea that no matter who you are you deserve to have eyewear that you love.

Although she has over 30 pairs in her collection (that seems to keep growing anytime new styles arrive). She loves to stick with the classics with ANDERSON and FINN being her ultimate favorite Jimmy's.

Madison loves spending time with friends and family whenever she gets a chance, but has a newfound love for traveling. Madison will never say no to a new adventure and getting to experience new and exciting things. From hikes and sightseeing to even trying new foods, you can count her in!

sara tokarz - ambassador & eyewear consultant

Sara Tokarz is our very own Jimmy Mac Ambassador and Eyewear Consultant. She fell in love with the idea of having a pair of Jimmy’s for every outfit. You can find Sara’s energy super helpful when finding that perfect pair.

When Sara isn't helping out in the Jimmy Mac Showroom she is busy with her classroom as a high school teacher here in Regina and can be found rocking her Jimmy’s at work on the daily! Sara’s favourite pair is WILLOW with blue light coating. After long days of teaching, the blue light coating helps her strained eyes so it is all the HYPE.

Jesse Rider- Eyewear Consultant

Jesse Rider is the newest addition to the Jimmy Mac Team as an Eyewear Consultant and you can usually find her smiling face around the Showroom on the weekends. Jesse is dedicated to helping you out in anyway she can from answering any questions you may have to helping you choose that perfect pair.

Jesse enjoys spending time with her friends and family when not at work and is always on the go. You can usually find her out at the lake camping, swimming or simply enjoying the nights around a fire.
